- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar.

- Divide the batter into two bowls. Color one bowl with black food coloring and the other with purple food coloring.
- Pour the black and purple batters into the cake pan, alternating between the colors to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely.
- Once the cake has cooled, frost with whipped cream and decorate with Halloween-themed sprinkles and spooky cake toppers.
