- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and sugar. In another bowl, beat together the butter and eggs until creamy.
- Mix the wet ingredients (butter, eggs) with the dry ingredients (flour, sugar) gradually. Add vanilla extract and milk. Mix until smooth.
- Divide the batter into two portions. Add black food coloring to one batch and orange food coloring to the other. Stir well.
- Pour the black batter into the cake pan and then layer the orange batter on top, creating a marble effect. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once the cake is baked and cooled, frost with whipped cream and decorate with chocolate sprinkles for a spooky look.
