Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons Black food coloring
  • 2 teaspoons Green food coloring
  • 2 teaspoons Orange food coloring
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder. In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
  4. Divide the batter into three bowls, adding black food coloring to one, green food coloring to another, and orange food coloring to the third.
  5. Pour the colored batters into the cake pans, alternating to create a marbled effect. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let the cakes cool, then frost with powdered sugar icing and decorate with spooky toppers.
