Ingredients
  

Cake Batter
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • gel food coloring (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet)
Frosting
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • sprinkles and fruits for decoration

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease 6 small round cake pans.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, then beat in eggs and vanilla.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until batter is smooth.
  5. Divide batter into 6 bowls and tint each with a different food color.
  6. Pour each color into a pan and bake 15–18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely, then layer with whipped frosting between each color.
  8. Cover entire cake with frosting and decorate with sprinkles and fruits.
