Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree not pumpkin pie filling
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Add-ins
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips plus extra for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, milk, and both sugars until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 50–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar or top with extra chocolate chips before serving.
