- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In a large bowl, beat together the pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, and softened butter until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely, then crumble the cake into fine crumbs.
- In a separate bowl, mix the crumbled cake with cream cheese and powdered sugar to form a dough-like consistency.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and insert cake pop sticks. Dip the cake pops into melted chocolate, then set them on a parchment-lined tray.
- Let the cake pops cool completely before serving.
