- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until fully combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
