Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter softened
  • 1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Canned pumpkin
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Whole milk
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp Pumpkin puree

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and canned pumpkin.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. While the cake cools, prepare the pumpkin glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, pumpkin puree, and a tablespoon of milk until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.
  8. Slice and serve the moist and flavorful pumpkin bundt cake with its delicious pumpkin glaze!
