Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp Black food coloring
  • 1 tbsp White food coloring
  • 1 set Halloween-themed decorations

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 35-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  6. Once the cake is cool, frost it with whipped cream or chocolate frosting and decorate with black food coloring to create the iconic black and white color scheme.
  7. Use white food coloring to pipe out Jack Skellington’s face on the cake or add spooky Halloween-themed decorations like mini pumpkins or spiders.
