- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a heart-shaped cake pan.

- Pour batter into pan and bake 30–35 minutes.
- Make buttercream by beating butter, sugar, milk, and vanilla. Tint with pink coloring.
- Frost the cooled cake and add decorative sprinkles and piped borders.
