Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the yellow cake mix according to the instructions on the box, and bake it in a 9x13-inch pan for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before crumbling it into small pieces in a large bowl.
- Add about half of the cream cheese frosting to the crumbled cake and mix it in until the mixture is moist and sticky enough to form into balls.
- Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and set them aside on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the orange candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
- Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted orange candy melts, then insert the stick into each cake ball. This helps the stick stay in place.
- Dip the cake pops into the melted orange candy coating, ensuring they are fully covered. Place the cake pops back onto the parchment paper to set.
- Once the cake pops have set, melt the black candy melts in the same way and drizzle them over the cake pops. Add Halloween sprinkles for a festive touch.
- Allow the cake pops to fully set before serving. Enjoy your Halloween-inspired fall cake pops!
