- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- Combine the cookie mix, all-purpose flour, and salt. Add this to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
- If desired, fold in any optional add-ins like chocolate chips or nuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
