Ingredients
  

  • 4 Egg whites beaten until stiff peaks form
  • 4 Egg yolks
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter melted
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks, melted butter, sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Gently fold the flour and baking powder into the egg yolk mixture.
  5. Carefully fold in the beaten egg whites, taking care not to deflate the mixture.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
