Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the cake mix according to the package directions, mixing the cake mix, vegetable oil, water, and eggs until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely.
- Once the cake has cooled, crumble it into fine crumbs using your hands or a fork. Mix in some frosting to bind the crumbs into a dough-like texture. Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and insert lollipop sticks into each ball.
- Place the cake pops on a baking sheet and refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
- While the pops are cooling, melt the white chocolate, orange candy melts, and yellow candy melts in separate bowls over a double boiler or in the microwave. Dip each cake pop into the white chocolate, followed by the orange and yellow layers, allowing each layer to cool slightly before dipping into the next color.
- Once the pops are coated, dip the top of each pop into fall-themed sprinkles for decoration.
