Ingredients
  

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups candy melts colored (white, pink, blue, etc.)
  • 20 pieces cake pop sticks
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Prepare the cake mix according to the package instructions and bake as directed. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  2. Once cooled, crumble the cake into small pieces in a large bowl.
  3. Mix the crumbled cake with softened butter and cream cheese until the mixture becomes dough-like and holds together.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and insert a cake pop stick into each ball.
  5. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy melts, fully coating the cake. You can use different colored candy melts for a festive touch.
  6. Place the cake pops on a baking sheet lined with wax paper and allow them to set for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Once set, decorate the cake pops with sprinkles or other edible decorations. Serve and enjoy!
