Ingredients

Base Dough
  • 1 box cake mix any flavor (chocolate, vanilla, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 2 eggs
Optional Add-ins
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles, nuts, or candies optional

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, oil (or butter), and eggs until a thick dough forms.
  3. Stir in any add-ins like chocolate chips, sprinkles, or nuts.
  4. Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop dough balls onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers will still look soft — that’s perfect!
  6. Let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days, or freeze for longer freshness.
