- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg.
- In a separate large bowl, cream 1/2 cup of butter and 1 cup of sugar until light and fluffy. Add 3 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Alternate adding the dry ingredients and 1/2 cup of buttermilk to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Gently fold in 2 cups of peeled and chopped apples.
- Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and smooth the top. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
